It’s almost never good news if the cops show up at your house while you’re at work, which is why one Utah man’s stomach dropped when a neighbor sent him a message letting him know he saw a cop car outside his home.
“When I got the text message the cops are at my house my stomach kind of dropped,” Brandon Kaawai said. At first, he thought maybe his house had been robbed while he was away at work. But before he started panicking, he decided to check his home security cameras.
Kaawai expected the worst, yet when he opened up footage from his security camera, he was stunned to see police officer Lacy Turner shoveling his driveway for him. And after she finished his driveway, she went on to a neighbors house and did the same for them.
“I kind of got an idea of, I would hate to go home and have to shovel my driveway,” said Turner after she was caught doing a good deed. “I want to try and make little things here and there to help people understand, we have to shovel our driveways too and things we can do as humans, not just police officers, are fun.”
