When one Rhode Island’s man car was stolen, he was absolutely devastated. However, it wasn’t because his car was gone, but because of what had been inside the car when it was stolen…
After driving all the way from Rhode Island to Las Vegas for a dog show, Joseph Covill was excited when he and his five beloved Boston Terriers finally arrived. But soon after arriving, a thief stole Covill’s PT Cruiser, which had four of his five dogs inside.
Covill was understandably devastated and thought he’d never see his dogs again, however, this past Monday, officers from the Metro Police Department managed to track down one of the stolen dogs and returned the little animal to his worried owner.
“Hey! Oh boy. Where you been,” Covill said to his dog Billy during their emotional reunion. “You’re a good boy. What’s going on? Where did you get the white nose? Where you been?” Covill explained the moment was bittersweet since three of his dogs were still missing, but he was overjoyed that he had Billy back and couldn’t wait to reunite Billy with his daughter Glitter, who Covill had been holding when the car was stolen.
“I’m going to clean him up a little; run around with him, reunite him with his daughter and sees what happens,” said Covill, who has since been reunited with another one of his stolen dogs.
