The athletes may have been the star of the day at a West Virginia University football game, but to this young boy, the state troopers were the real heroes.
According to Braedon Mullins mother, Dreama, his eyes lit up as soon as he saw the state troopers on the field, as he has always been fascinated with the West Virginia police, and helping get the ‘bad guys’ off the streets.
Rather than ask for the athletes’ autographs, Braedon approached the state troopers standing guard, and asked if they would sign his football.
“I thought it was pretty cool that all those football players were out there and he was watching us,” Cpl. Donnie White said. “You can’t put a price tag on that.”
