Every year, millions of children in need go without presents on December 25th, but one little girl is doing everything in her power to make sure they get their fair share of Christmas cheer.

10-year-old Faith Russell has been working tirelessly with Operation Christmas Child so needy children around the world have something to open on Christmas, morning despite her own struggles.

When Faith was a baby, her doctors told her parents she’d never walk because she was born with spina bifida, a birth defect where the spinal cord does not develop properly. Yet this little miracle defied the odds, and is using her gift to raise supplies for her shoebox gifts.

Despite being told she’d never walk, Faith has completed 22 races over the past two years in order to raise money and gifts for her project.
