In an alternate world, Disneyland, known as the happiest place on earth, would probably be the most miserable place on earth.
And thanks to the newest exhibition by world-famous graffiti artist Banksy, the world is now able to visit Dismaland.
The most gloomy amusement park in the world is set at an abandoned U.K. beach in the town of Weston-super-Mare, and features work from over 50 different artists, including Damien Hurst, Jenny Holzer, Jimmy Cauty, and of course, Banksy.
In Banksy’s interpretation of the ‘happiest place on earth’, it seems the Magic Kingdom was lacking its magic.
Park workers wear uniforms of hot pink vests with the word ‘DISMAL’ printed on the back.
Fitting with the theme park’s dreary personality, this attraction features rubber ducks covered in sludge from an oil spill.
In Dismaland’s version of Cinderella, rather than living happily ever after, the princess is involved in a carriage accident, which is photographed by the paparazzi.
“A dead princess is only complete when surrounded by gawping crowds with their cameras out, or the opportunity to photograph yourself pulling an amazed expression when a killer whale leaps from a toilet,” Banksy said.
Take a look at the entire video here to find out just what Dismaland, Disney’s polar opposite theme park, looks like, and try to spot some of Banksy’s signature street art.
