For most kids, back to school time is the worst time of the year. It means homework, tests, and even having to say goodbye to all that time with mom.
When Andrew Macias, a 4-year-old about to start his first day of school, was asked about having to say goodbye to mom, he initially laughed off the question, but moment’s later began to tear up as the reality of school hit him.
KTLA reporter Courtney Friel asks Andrew a few questions as he is about to begin his very first day of school.
When asked “Are you gonna miss your mom?”Andrew first says no, and laughs the question off.
However, it was all about to go downhill…
The reporter tries to cheer him up, but the thought of leaving his mom is just too much.
Don’t worry Andrew, we’d cry too if we were about to start school.
