People often assume that police officers are mean-spirited grinches, but this compassionate cop and her partner are proving that even cops have a soft side.
When Officer Jamie Landrum was out patrolling the neighborhood, she found a lost 2-year-old boy who was freezing in damp clothes without a parent.
Yet before returning to the station, she knew she could do more to help, and made a quick stop at the nearest Walgreens to buy the little boy shoes, dry clothing, and fresh diapers.
While out on patrol at 2:30 a.m., two Cincinnati police officers spotted a 2-year-old boy wandering this neighborhood in freezing weather without a coat, socks, or even shoes.
Once back at the station, Officer Will Nastold worked to calm the scared boy and help him fall asleep by laying beside him on the ground playing with some toy cars.
