Your typical house cat may never make it to space, but these unique pet carriers called the cat-pack were designed after astronaut suit in order to make your cat feel like the adventurer he really is.
Even the most domesticated house cats crave some time to explore outside, however, allowing them out of the house could be disastrous. These ventilated backpacks feature a porthole-like bubble window that allows your pet to safely enjoy the outside world.
“Give your pets a window to the world,” the companysaid. “They also want to enjoy the scenery and interact with the outside world.”
The company has a variety of bag styles, which all feature their patent-pending bubble window design.
“My cat is abut 18 lbs so I got the largest size,” writes an Amazon reviewer. “He’s snug inside but I can’t stop smiling when I see his head fill up the astronaut bubble!!!!”

Getting an eight-week-old puppy AND a fiancé all in one day would be tough for anyone to handle, which is why we don’t blame this lucky woman for completely losing her cool as her boyfriend shocks her with not one, but two life-changing gifts.
In the video, Shane Moffis, 24, came up with a clever plan for proposing to his 22-year-old girlfriend, Shelby Turner, with the help of a baby chocolate Labrador Retriever named Sitka. Shelby was struggling to process everything, but the minute Shane got down on one knee, she was completely floored. Still in disbelief, Shelby asked ‘is this real?’

Huskies are known for their ear-piercing howls, but believe it or not, these wolf descendants are not born with the ability to cry out the perfect howl.
Rather, they have to grow into it. But by the sound of it, somebody forgot to share that little detail with this baby husky.
In the video, this Siberian husky pup named Ramsey tries to explain himself after being caught stealing food from his mom’s roommate. He tries his very best to sound tough, but his high-pitched voice gives him away.
This silly husky tries to mimic the sound of its human howling, but has a long way to go before his voice is deep enough for a proper howl.
Ramsey’s human mom, Kayla Cagnola, couldn’t contain her laughter, as the loud baby adorably tried (and failed) to sound tough.

The winter season can be a particularly difficult few months for those struggling to get by because of the bitter cold, and hazardous weather conditions. Many times, the only way the homeless and needy get through winter, is through the kindness of strangers.
One woman named Rebecca Barassa knew how tough the winter can be on the needy, and wanted to do something to make a difference. “I’m hoping it inspires people. I’m hoping that everyone else will kind of pick up and see what I’ve done, and maybe take it into other communities where they know there’s a lot of people who are in need of it,” Barassa explained to FOX.
Barassa left everything from mittens, gloves, socks, scarfs, earmuffs, and knit hats to help people stay warm in the cold.
The note near the donated clothing in Boston Common reads: “I am not lost… If you are stuck out in the cold, please take what you need to keep warm.”

We’ve seen orangutans have some incredible interactions with zoo-goers, like this one who had a soft spot for a woman’s pregnant belly. Yet, this naive animal gets the shock of its life when meeting an amateur magician.
In the video, a man spends some time at this orangutan’s enclosure, and despite being separated by a thick glass wall, he managed to put a smile on the zoo animal’s face as he shows him a simple magic trick.
The man showed the curious orangutan that there was something inside the styrofoam cup.
As the animal watched closely, the visitor quickly shook the cup up and down. But when the orangutan saw the cup was miraculously empty, it was shocked and literally rolled on the floor laughing.

In an attempt to show his congregation how powerful a random act of kindness could be, Pastor Wright from Life Point Church in Mentor, Ohio planned to give a pizza delivery man a $100 tip, but what happened next shocked even him.
When Jeff Louis, a 22-year-old delivery man for Gionino’s Pizza, handed the pizza over to the Pastor, people began lining up behind Jeff to add to the already inflated tip.
By the time everyone donated what they could, Jeff was left with a shocking $700 dollar tip.
Jeff was in tears as he recounted what had just happened to him. “I’ve been having such a hard time lately, just struggling to stay clean. I’m just trying to get my life back and the gesture just really truly amazes me… that people who don’t even know me just wanted to help me out that much.”

Dogs might be man’s best friend, but many have even more important roles as our protectors. Dogs are an integral part of many police and military forces because of their incredible sense of sight, hearing, smell, and instinct. Yet, many aren’t given the same protection as their human partners.
Dog vests for working police and military dogs are nothing new, yet many are inefficient, and the ones that do work well are too expensive.
In order to provide the protection these dogs deserve, a Russian company just created armored canine vests, which were designed by Scientific Production Association of Special Materials (NPO). In the video below, a combat dog shows off his new protective gear, which will help him keep safe in any situation.
Normal police and military dog vests vary in terms of protectiveness, but many leave large areas around the head, torso, and legs completely unprotected.
These new armored vests also come with additional armor to protect the dog’s head and legs.

For people struggling with mental illnesses like depression, a seemingly simple task like getting out of bed can be the biggest challenge. But when you’re having a bad day, it’s important to remember that it’s ok to lean on your loved ones for a little support, which is exactly what this incredible husband reminded his wife.
When work stress, financial strains, and friend issues started getting the better of Molly Murphy, her husband Tim Murphy was there to catch her. “Amidst all the struggle, my husband has relentlessly tried to cheer me up. I’ve not been the easiest person to deal with. In fact, sometimes I’ve lost all hope and even taken my frustration out on my new husband. But he somehow forgives me every time,” Molly wrote.
In order to help his wife, Tim decided he’d write down a few of the reasons why he loved her on their bedroom mirror. A few words may not erase all the pain, but they sure can help.
“Today when I came home from a trip to SF, I flopped onto my bed in tears. I looked to my left, and saw these words painted all across my mirror,” Molly wrote in her post on Imgur. “I think he wanted me to remember how much he loves me. Because he knows how quickly I forget.”
Tim’s list was made up of both the big things he loves like how she makes him want to be a better person, and the little things like how she snorts when she laughs.
The List reads:
1. She is my best friend
2. She never quits on herself or me
3. She gives me time to work on my crazy projects
4. She makes me laugh, everyday
5. She is gorgeous
6. She accepts the crazy person I am
7. She’s the kindest person i know
8. She’s got a beautiful singing voice
9. She’s gone to a strip club with me
10. She has experienced severe tragedy yet is the most optimistic person about humanity I know
11. She has been fully supportive about my career choices and followed me each time
12. Without realizing it, she makes me want to do more for her than I have ever wanted to do for anyone
13. She’s done an amazing job at advancing her career path
14. Small animals make her cry
15. She snorts when she laughs

The holiday season is meant to be shared with loved ones, but, unfortunately, many brave men and women serving in armed forces won’t be able to make it home to their spouses and children in time.
In the video, mom Ruth Stevens came up with an amazing idea to surprise her kids, who had gone three months without seeing their dad Scott, as he had been away serving in the Royal Navy. When mom finally lets them open up the massive present, the stunned kids start shouting “Daddy, daddy, daddy – it’s daddy!”
At first, the brother and sister were amazed by the size of the gift, and couldn’t guess what was underneath all the colorful wrapping paper.
But soon enough, the kids realized their present was a ‘who’ instead of a ‘what.’ After being deployed for three months, their father managed to make it home safely for Christmas.

Big dogs like Zeus the Mastiff may not be the most agile creatures, but they definitely have the biggest hearts around.
In the video, Zeus is competing in the Rocky Mountain Cluster Dog Show, and puts on a hysterical, albeit determined, performance. Although he’s clearly too big for half the course and too sluggish for the competition, Zeus carries on, and finishes with style and grace.
Despite the handler’s best efforts to get Zeus to move a little faster, the sluggish Mastiff casually sauntered through the entire course.
Even when faced with difficult high jumps, Zeus couldn’t be bothered to put any extra effort into his hysterical performance.

Parents will do just about anything to make sure the holiday season is full of magic for their children, but these parents took that dedication to the next level while ensuring their children have a joyful holiday season.
Joe and Megan Wynberg, from Moncton, New Brunswick, were inspired to do a human Elf on the Shelf series after they noticed friends posting funny pictures of their tiny elves around their homes. Since the very first night Joe put on the elf costume and posed atop the refrigerator, the couple promised to post the elf in hysterical locations, and they haven’t disappointed.
By day, Joe Wynberg is a normal husband and dad of four adorable children, but by night, Joe turns into FLE (pronounced ‘flee’), a troublemaking Elf on the Shelf.
“Well, day one, and I am not sure about this “Elf on the Shelf” thing. FLE ate the kids advent calendars, they will be devastated,” wife Megan wrote in a post to her Facebook.
“FLE is out of control! I need to find my receipt. Couldn’t handle those advent calendars he ate last night. Today is the second after all!”
As if FLE’s wasn’t already on the naughty list, he made snow angels out of flour, and peed in the ‘snow.’
“Because picking up after four kids isn’t enough! FLE was pretty exited about the first snowfall of the year and I’m pretty sure he pee’d on the floor. I’m getting rid of this thing!”
After admitting that she wasn’t cut out for looking after the naughty elf, Megan decided to put an end to the madness, and people were devastated.
But just because FLE was kicked out of the house, didn’t mean he was banned from running free and making some trouble outside. “Awe! For pete’s sake! I knew it was too good to be true,” Megan wrote.
After pulling this stunt, Megan finally decided to let FLE back into the house. “So FLE has been trying to get in the house all day. Then I found him doing this. I may have to bring him back in before the neighbours call the cops.”
“So we got our tree up and decorated with the kids today. And then FLE tried to get in the tree like his other “Elf on the Shelf” buddies.”
Megan enlisted the help of some powerful superheroes to tame the wild elf. “I brought in re-enforcement to get FLE the “Elf on the Shelf” under control.”
In their most recent post, FLE managed to break free. “I think FLE is pretty upset about last night and is seeking revenge against those responsible for duck taping him to the wall.”

For soldiers, the military dogs they work and train with form an incredible bond that goes beyond the battlefield. When Andrew Brown, a Fort Hood Soldier, and his canine companion named Rocky were injured in an IED blast, not even the medical staff could separate these two as they fought to get better.
“One of our Military Working Dogs, Rocky, and his handler were injured this week during operations in Afghanistan,” the 89th Military Police Brigade wrote to their Facebook page. “Rocky and his handler are staying in the same room right now as they are receiving treatment for their injuries. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they recover during the holiday season.”
Rocky was seen recuperating under a cozy blanket, and was wearing a purple heart medal that he received for his brave service.
A few days later, the page posted an update showing the two soldiers doing well after spending some time at the hospital together.
“SPC Brown and Rocky are both doing well after being treated for injuries they suffered from an IED blast earlier this week while searching a structure in support of ongoing operations in Afghanistan,” the brigade wrote in the update. “They are both very thankful for your thoughts and prayers and are in the process of heading back home.”
“Please remember them, as well as all our Soldiers deployed around the world, during the holiday season. Proven in Battle!” the military police brigade wrote as they concluded their post.

It seems like the only two groups of people who truly get what life is all about are the young and the elderly, as everyone in between is too caught up with things that don’t actually matter. So when they sat a 7-year-old and a 64-year-old down to talk, the two came up with some incredible answers for how life should be lived.
In the video, ’57 Years Apart’, a young boy and an older man sit down together to ask each other questions about the challenges of life and love. The questions might be pretty straight forward, but they both come up with some heartfelt answers for living a good life.
After getting to know each other, the old man had some advice for the boy as he grows up. “You don’t have to be rich to be happy. Do the things you like doing that make you feel good. Because when you’re happy yourself, everybody else is happy.”
And when it was the boy’s turn to give the old man advice, he told him to just be yourself, never bring other people down, and always give a friend a hug when they need it, even if it won’t fix everything.

Seeing a baby Francois’ Langur monkey might be hard to do since they’re one of the rarest breeds in the world. But once you do see one, like this precious newborn, it’s pretty hard to forget, as they’re born with bright orange hair.
Thanks to his bright orange fur, the zoo keepers at Sydney’s Taronga Zoo spotted this little guy in his mother’s arm shortly after he was born in early November. Since his hair is such a bright orange, the zoo decided to name the precious baby Nangua, which is the Mandarin word for pumpkin.
While Nangua is still a little wobbly on his legs, the zoo explained that “the adults are starting to let him climb off them briefly, which shows they’re happy with his progress.”
Francois’ Langur monkeys are born with bright orange hair, as it is said to help parents keep track of their babies in the wild. However, as they grow older, the hair turns black.
Nangua tries to copy mom, and eat some of the tasty leaves, but couldn’t fit the snack in his tiny mouth.

Dogs use howling as a form of communication and as a way to attract attention, but this hysterical dog is using her howling abilities to voice her disapproval after being left alone.
In the video, a puggle named Sophie lies in her human’s lap while he gently rubs her belly. However, instead of lapping up the attention, Sophie uses the time to let her owner know just how annoyed she is.
Despite blissfully laying in her owner’s lap, Sophie couldn’t contain her heartbreaking howls.
Judging by her human’s suit and tie, Sophie was just airing her frustration at being left all alone while her owner was out having fun.

Nurses work tirelessly as they dedicate their lives to saving complete strangers. Yet the minute those patients get better, they often disappear from their nurses’ lives forever without so much as an update. This nurse, however, got something even better when a grateful patient tracked her down years later.
As Amanda Scarpinati grew up, she would often stare at pictures that her family had saved of the kind nurse who had watched over and cared for her when she was in the Albany Medical Center hospital after being badly burned. “People would ask me ‘who’s the woman holding you?’ and I never had a name,” Amanda said.
38 years after her hospital stay, Amanda decided to post her photos to social media in an attempt to locate and meet her guardian angel. “I would love to know her name and possibly get a chance to talk to her and meet her,” she wrote in her Facebook post.
Soon after that post, Amanda was contacted by another nurse who claimed she had worked with the mystery woman in 1977. The stranger was right, the nurse in the photos was Susan Burger, and they immediately got to work to reunite the two.
Susan was just 21 years old at the time the photos were taken, and Amanda was one of her first patients. “All I could think of was when I picked her up, she just melted in my arms,” Susan said of the patient she never forgot.
“I get to know the woman in the picture now,” Amanda told NBC News.
