For many separated couples, co-parenting can often be messy, challenging, and even unhealthy, but one Florida dad just proved that not all co-parenting situations have to be that way.
Recently, Brandon Carpenter’s ex told him that their daughter wasn’t feeling well and asked if he could bring over some Tylenol. “My child’s mother said our daughter isn’t feeling well and needs some Tylenol…so I bring her infant Tylenol and notice her fridge is completely empty other than some water..but she has a full pantry of my daughter’s food formula snacks and water,” Carpenter wrote in a post to Facebook.

Carpenter knew she had bills and rent to pay for, and wanted to make sure she had enough food for herself. So after he stopped by, he went straight to the grocery store and bought enough food to fill the fridge. “Mind u she works a full-time job and then has my daughter..she pays rent and all her bills plus she is paying off a car. So today I went shopping to make sure she had food for the next few weeks,” he wrote in the post, which has been shared nearly 200,000 times.

“Just because we aren’t together doesn’t mean I can’t provide for her if she needs it…if my child’s mother is good then I know she is taking care of our daughter the best she can and that makes me happy.”
