Moms will do just about anything to make their child feel better when they’re upset or feeling self-conscious, and when one mom saw her little girl’s face after seeing herself for the first time after having surgery, she knew she had to do something to make her feel better.
Utah mom Jamie Dawn Beckstead was ready to do anything to make sure her daughter healed after finding out her little girl, Faith May, had brain cancer. However, Faith May didn’t realize that meant shaving her hair and getting a huge scar on her head.
In order to remove the tumor in her brain that was pushing on her optic nerve, doctors had to shave Faith May’s hair, but she was self-conscious when she saw that her hair was missing after surgery and in its place was a huge stitched up incision that went from the top of her head all the way down to her ear.

Jamie couldn’t stand how sad her little girl looked, so she went home and shaved off a chunk of her own hair to match her daughter, and as soon as Faith May saw her mom’s new hairstyle, she couldn’t help but smile.
