Dog may be man’s best friend, but this charming two-year-old Australian Labradoodle named Reagan chose a sweet little boy to bond with. In fact, the two are so close they even have matching wardrobes!

Since Reagan was just six months old, his human mom Sandi Swiridoff noticed her silly pup loved being in photographs, and began posting pictures of him to Instagram. Then, when Sandi’s daughter brought home a foster child, the two bonded instantly.

The two became so inseparable that she started dressing them in matching outfits, and they actually began posing together in photos.

“Adopting Reagan was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. He has added so much joy to our lives, and to the lives of many other people.”

“When Reagan’s little buddy came along a year ago, he and Reagan bonded immediately, and have been the best of friends ever since as he and Reagan are the same age.”

“When I put the baby down for a nap, Reagan stays right outside his door and waits for him to wake up and play.”

However, Sandi explained that Reagan actually loves being a part of the photo shoots, which only last a few minutes as he knows he always gets showered with praise and treats during the shoots. “It is a bonding experience for us. When he is dressed up, it’s only for a few minutes while I take the photos, then he gets to return to being a ‘normal’ dog again.”

When faced with the task of building a home on an impossibly small and unusually shaped lot next to a river, one architect decided to make the most of the blank space with some creative planning.

The river house below is only 594-square-feet, which is only about a fourth the size of the typical American home, and about the same size as the average great room. Despite its small size, the home still manages to feel spacious and comfortable.

In just 594-square-feet, the designers of this river house managed to fit in all the comforts of a much larger home.

The first level of the home has the bathroom, bedroom, and space for storage while the upstairs features a full kitchen with a refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, and sink.

The entire second floor was kept open to make the space appear larger than it really was, and also features an open loft that functions as a play room.

In order to keep the office and entertainment space feel open, the designers turned the exterior walls into huge windows.

Dogs will eat just about anything they can get their mouths on, which is why it’s no surprise that this hungry Boxer gobbled up a cookie the second he could reach it.

In the video below, an adorable little boy is about to learn the hard way why dogs can never be trusted around food. The minute the dog gets close enough to the boy’s cookie, he swallows it whole and leaves the little boy in shock.

This adorable little boy felt bad for the two dogs that were begging for his food, and decided to share his cookie with them.

But the minute the dog gets his mouth on the cookie, he snatches the whole thing out from the boys hand and practically inhales it.

At first, the baby is confused about where his cookie went, but then starts tearing up as he realizes his yummy treat is gone forever.

We may think of elephants as wise, graceful creatures, but this silly baby elephant is proving that babies will be babies, no matter what the species.

While spending the afternoon at the elephant playground at the Elephant Nature Park, in Chiang Mai, Thailand, this baby had the time of his life playing with some old tire swings. The sanctuary works hard to protect the elephants from harm within its borders, yet somehow this baby still manages to get himself in a bit of trouble with the rope and tires.

At first, the grown up stand back to keep an eye on all of their babies as they wander, but this particularly playful boy has his eyes set on playing with some old tires and some rope.

At one point, he even gets his get stuck in one of the hanging tire swings and mom has to come keep a closer eye on him, yet even that doesn’t stop him from having the best day ever.

In the video, a concerned little boy named Jacob can’t help but give mom a sassy lecture about being responsible with her things when he finds her phone stuck inside of her guitar as she plays.

When Jacob heard music coming from downstairs, he came to investigate what was going on. Mom was just using her phone to record her guitar playing, but Jacob thought she got her phone stuck.

Jacob reached in with his tiny hand to save her phone, and before walking away, sassily told her that next time to “be careful with your phone.”

Having a newborn puppy is a little bit like having a baby as you have to deal with potty training, crying throughout the night, and adjusted sleep schedules.

This new puppy owner named Sean Sarantos is learning the hard way that having a newborn puppy requires tons of energy, and that there’s no time for sleep when his French Bulldog named Link, or Stinky Linky wants to play.

Luckily, when the physical trainer  does doze off for a few minutes for some rest, he has an adorable alarm clock who can’t be ignored.

Sean was fast asleep when Link decided nap time was over. At first, the French Bulldog pup adorably began nibbling on Sean’s beard to try and wake him.

When Sean won’t budge, Link knows he has to do something a bit more drastic, and begins drowning him in slobbery kisses and playfully nibbling at his face.

Yet, instead of ripping off his sunglasses, this English Bulldog comes up with an even more dramatic way to let his owner know he’s not happy.

When Chesty Puller, an English Bulldog, gets dressed up by his owner in a pair of bright red sunglasses, he makes it very clear that he wants nothing to do with them.

In fact, he refuses to do anything- even eat his favorite snack- until his owner takes off the detested sunglasses.

Even when his owner tempts him with his favorite treat, the stoic English Bulldog refuses to budge as long as his owner makes him wear his sunglasses.

However, as soon as the sunglasses come off, the dramatic dog jumps to his feet to snatch the delicious treats from his owners hands.

When this rambunctious elephant decided to play a game of peekaboo with a passing car on Victoria Falls Road, it forgot how alarming it is for tiny humans to see a charging elephant.

Once the driver processed the huge shock, he drove off quickly, and left the huge elephant to come up with new ways to entertain itself.

The rowdy elephant hid in the bushes and greenery on the side of the road and waited patiently for a passing car.

Once it heard the approaching car, the elephant jumped out and charged towards the shocked driver. After the car drove by, the bored elephant went back to wandering slowly by the road.

Caring for an abandoned animal is especially difficult as their wounds can go far beyond the surface.

When Karen Trendler and staff at the Thula Thula Rhino Orphanage in South Africa found a sick baby elephant they nicknamed ‘Ellie’, they quickly learned his physical pain was nothing compared to him emotional trauma.

After caring for his infections and finding a diet plan that would work for him, the caretakers knew they had to find him a companion.

Baby Ellie was getting round the clock care, but as his body recovered, it became clear to caretakers how depressed he was after being rejected by his herd.

Caretakers at the rhino orphanage knew he needed companionship, and decided to introduce him to Duma, a former service dog and resident pet at the orphanage. “He suddenly started to get a little bit of interest in life again,” said Karen Trendler, a rehabilitation expert at the orphanage.

After a long day, Ben’s mom decided her little boy deserved to have his favorite chocolate mousse for dessert. Yet moments later, he struggles to stay awake long enough to eat it.

With his eyes closed, Ben managed to rub the delicious mousse all over his face as he unconsciously tried to find his mouth.

If you saw a soldier struggling to buy diapers, formula, and food for his family, would you step in to help?

As part of a social experiment, ABC New’s What Would You Do segment placed two actors inside a grocery store check-out line to see what strangers at a San Antonio supermarket would do when they say a struggling veteran. When the soldier goes to pay for the groceries for his baby and family, the cashier breaks the news that he doesn’t have enough money to pay.

The soldier is ready to pay, but when he hears the price of everything on his list, he tells the cashier he’s been having trouble supporting his family and keeping a job since returning from duty.

Surprisingly, strangers stepped up to offer him any extra cash they had to help cover the difference. Even customers who were struggling to pay for their own food stepped up to help.

This man understood what it was like to go through a tough time, and let the soldier keep the change from the $20 dollars he gave towards his groceries and told him to take it a day at a time.

Soldiers returning from duty who develop Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder often have little understanding of how to deal with the emotional and physical trauma they experienced during war, and have few resources for healing.

Bob Nevins, a Vietnam War veteran and founder of Saratoga WarHorse, decided to start a non-profit organization that let soldiers form a bond with thoroughbred horses as a form of animal therapy to help soldiers with their PTSD.

“By utilizing the silent language of the horse, a mutual trust and profound bond is established that goes beyond verbal communication,” Saratoga WarHorse wrote on their website. “Our personalized approach provides each individual with a unique experience that helps to release stress.”

Twins form a special bond with their siblings well before they actually make it out of mom’s tummy. Despite being born extremely premature, twins Kristiana and Kristian formed an unbreakable bond and are using each other for strength.

Kristian and Kristiana were born on January 4th at only 28 weeks along weighing only 2.2 pounds each, which is about five pounds less than the average full-term baby.

In order to make up for not having a full nine months to develop inside the womb, doctors and the new mom and dad did everything to make sure the two get stronger. But soon enough, it became clear that the most crucial part of their development would be being close to each other.

While dad used skin to skin cuddling called ‘kangaroo care‘, which has been proven to improve health and wellbeing of premature babies, he noticed that his two tiny babies reached out for each and held each other’s hand.

But then the new parents started noticing their twins constantly holding hands whenever they were close enough to each other. “Both my angels holding hands again as if they were born to,” Anthea wrote in a post to Facebook.

Pets can be very possessive when it comes to your love and affection, which is why new parents are often hesitant to introduce their animal ‘babies’ with their day-old newborns.

When these new parents brought their two-day-old daughter home from the hospital for the first time, they were curious to see how their loyal dog Milo would react. At first, Milo had no idea what was going on, but could tell something was different. He impatiently began racing around the living room, until seeing mom bring in his new sister.

Milo instantly bonds with the new baby, and like her so much that he actually gives her kisses and offers up his favorite chew toy.

Having a child with severe foods allergies, like a nut allergy, can be terrifying when your child could have a deathly reaction at any moment.

For Robyn Hurd, her constant fear was that her 6-year-old son Rory would somehow get in contact with a peanut and stop breathing. “It’s definitely life and death, every waking moment. I don’t know many parents who go in every single night to see if their child is breathing, but I do,” Robyn said.

To protect her son, Robyn decided to make the $17,000 investment to buy a service dog named Sport from Angel Service Dogs who could be with her son at all times that was trained to detect peanuts.

Rory was thrilled to have a new companion who could keep him safe, and couldn’t wait to meet his protector. “His heart was set on this. It was all he talked about for a very long time,” Robyn said.

However, when Sport first joined the family, Robyn wanted to make sure he was trained well enough and tested his abilities by walking him through the grocery store. Yet when she walked the dog past bins full of nuts, he did nothing.

“I was really shocked that he, even being five feet away, wasn’t showing any change in behavior at all,” said Kathlyn Ross, a dog trainer.

When Mary Beth EslaryEslary said goodbye to her husband Eric one morning before he headed off to work with his loyal K-9 partner Blek, she had no idea it would be the last time she would ever see him.

Lt. Eric had been driving around with Blek when their police truck was hit by a drunk driver. Despite being severely injured, Blek refused to leave his partner’s side, and later proved his loyalty a second time when he helped the Elsary family heal from the tragic incident.

Blek managed to recover after undergoing surgery, but his partner Lt. Eric was not as lucky. However, Mary Beth and their six kids weren’t the only ones left to grieve as Blek had lost his partner and best friend.

When Blek was given an early retirement, Mary Beth knew she had to adopt him since her husband had always considered the dog family. Today, Mary Beth, her kids, and Blek are helping each other deal with their loss and greif.

Being on an airplane that is malfunctioning or crashing is any traveler’s worst nightmare, but this pilot decided it was actually the best time to propose to his unsuspecting girlfriend.

When returning from a day trip in Catalina with his girlfriend in a small, personal plane, this man tricked his girlfriend into thinking there was something wrong with their plane.

However, it was really just a creative way to get his girlfriend to read from a special ’emergency’ instruction plan that he put in the aircraft.

While in the tiny plane on their way home from a day trip, this boyfriend let his girlfriend know that something was wrong with the plane, and unfortunately, the flight controls were not responding.

In order to land the plane safely, he needed her to stay calm and read the emergency procedure plan.

But as she read out the directions, she realized they weren’t so much for the plane, as they were for her and her boyfriend. After she read out the final instructions, he reached back and pulled out a shiny diamond engagement ring.

Despite the obvious size difference between tiny dogs like this Chihuahua and this massive Great Dane, which is the tallest dog breed in the world, the smaller dogs always end up being more aggressive and asserting their dominance.
